Books Wishlist part I

F.Scott Fitzgerald - Sense and Sensibility

Lately I’ve been buying a lot of books and I found myself wanting even more. Winter makes me wanna stay home and read all day, can’t blame me right?

While I was in Shakespeare and Co a few weeks ago I found perfect books that I absolutely need. Penguin Classics published a set of six new editions of F Scott Fitzgerald’s work, the cover art were made by the very talented Coralie Bickford-Smith. I’m so in love with the covers. Plus, a bookmark is also included ! How great ?

  1. Coralie Bickford-Smith makes such amazing covers. I’ve been slowly collecting all of the Penguin Classics with her covers and when they released photos of these I thought I was going to lose it! F. Scott Fitzgerald and art deco metallics? Perfect.

  2. Now THAT’S a way to judge a book by its cover!! 🙂 They’re gorgeous! Another pretty one I saw recently was actually an e-book on kindle called “The Inheritance” by R.S.Ramdial. The cover is quite lovely in that too. Oh! And the story reads like a classic as well!

  3. They ARE beautiful! I fell in love with them too, I’ve now got Flappers And Philosophers and The Great Gatsby but can’t wait to collect them all! One day I will have a beautiful bookshelf full of the likes of these… XX
